Tres Leche Cake

I made this cake for Imbolc, one of my favorite holidays.
The recipe calls for so much milk you wouldn’t think it could all possibly soak into the cake, but it does and my gods is it amazing! The cake is so deliciously rich we were sure we wouldn’t be able to eat it all by ourselves and so on Friday night when I made it we were generously contemplating sharing it with family. By Saturday afternoon when we’d already had some cake for breakfast then again for lunch we didn’t mention sharing it again.
